A NON-TRADITIONAL ANNUAL REPORT
Like many organizations, the Food Bank had printed a large annual report for years. We wanted something more succinct that better communicated the mission to our donors, and so the lunch sac annual report was created. Not only was it cheaper to print than the usual glossy number, a fact reflected in the letter on the bag, but it was attention grabbing and tied perfectly into the mission.
The mailed lunch sac directed donors to a microsite that had more detailed information about programs and financials. Since we were short a digital person at annual report time I built the microsite. I don't often get to flex my coding muscles so that was a fun project and allowed me to own the look of the report on all channels.
The final piece was a single page report that could be easily grabbed for staff use at events at meetings, also directing to the microsite for more information.
